Parish Council Meetings

Parish Council meetings are open to the public. The Council does have the power to exclude the public from part of a meeting if it judges that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest because of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted, but this rarely happens. You are welcome to attend Whessoe Parish Council meetings.

Members of the public have no rights to speak at Parish Council meetings unless the Council authorises this, but if you've got a constructive point to make about what's going on in Whessoe then the Council will invariably give you an opportunity to make that point.

Agendas and minutes of the Parish Council meetings are available on this web site.

Parish Council meetings for 2022/23 are as follows:

  • Monday 24 July 2023
  • Monday 25 September 2023
  • Monday 27 November 2023 - Budget and Precept setting meeting
  • Monday 22 January 2024
  • Monday 25 March 2024
  • Monday 13 May 2024 - Annual Meeting

All Parish Council meetings are held at 7pm in Whessoe Parish Hall, Harrowgate Village, DL1 3AA unless otherwise stated.

Annual Parish Meeting
